Job Description
As a primary school teacher, you will be responsible for guiding, educating, and supporting our students in their academic, social, personal, and spiritual development. Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the current educational curriculum.
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assessing students’ progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborating with the teaching team to develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Effectively communicating with parents and colleagues to ensure proper student progress monitoring.
Profile
- Excellent proficiency in the French language (oral and written).
- Diploma in Early Childhood and Elementary Education or Diploma in Secondary Education. Secondary school teachers are also welcome.
- Teaching certification issued by the Quebec Ministry of Education. If not already certified, willingness to obtain teaching certification during the school year.
- Passion for teaching and supporting students.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the development of the school program.
